Scheduled to take place from 15 to 19 September 2025 in Munich, the event is set to bring together more than 1,000 exhibitors from over 50 countries, spanning 73,000 square metres, to present the future of beverage production and innovation.
This year’s edition continues the show’s strong international orientation, with two-thirds of the exhibitors hailing from outside Germany, reinforcing drinktec’s role as a truly global platform.

drinktec 2025 will spotlight solutions across the entire beverage and liquid food value chain—from raw material processing and packaging to digitalization and sustainability. Indian businesses exploring automation, energy efficiency, and AI-driven process improvements will find immense value in the technologies showcased.

A key highlight of the 2025 edition is the launch of Liquidrome, a dedicated zone in Hall C4 that will be a futuristic forum for dialogue and innovation. In partnership with VDMA´s Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association, the Liquidrome will focus on three main topics:

With consumer preferences shifting, this segment focuses on innovative beverage categories like low- and no-alcohol drinks, functional beverages enriched with nutrients, and plant-based protein formulations. Manufacturers can explore strategies to capitalise on the growing health and wellness market.
Startups and New Beverage Concepts Highlighted
drinktec 2025 is also seeing an increase in startups participation: especially at the Liquidrome. With the support of Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWK), the Startup Zone will include both German and international innovators who are developing IT solutions, energy systems and functional additives.
Kosak noted, “This year, we’re seeing strong momentum in ingredients and health-driven beverages. Our dedicated Health Bar and New Beverage Concept (NBC) zone will spotlight fast-growing product categories.”
These spaces will serve as a discovery hub for Indian and global entrepreneurs keen to tap into emerging demand for wellness beverages. Projections indicate this segment could see over 8% annual growth through 2028.

As part of its efforts to remain responsive to trends in the global market, the organisers of drinktec have conducted a vast international roadshow to engage with industry stakeholders across more than 20 countries, including India, Southeast Asia, Africa and South America.
