NEW DELHI: In a tragic turn of events, a powerful earthquake of 5.9 magnitude struck northwestern China’s Gansu-Qinghai border on Friday, leaving a trail of devastation with loss of lives and widespread damage.
As of now, there have been 86 reported fatalities and 96 injuries resulting from the earthquake in China’s Gansu-Qinghai border region according to a report by state news agency outlet Xinhua.
