Sensex, Nifty updates on 14 August 2023: After losing over 0.6% in early trade on Monday, benchmarks BSE and NSE Nifty have been on a recovery path since noon. Sensex, Nifty were up 0.2% and 0.1% at 2.50 pm. Wholesale price index based inflation in July was at (-) 1.36%, against (-) 4.12% in June, govt data said. Traders are cautious ahead of announcement of retail inflation numbers for July later in the day. SEBI has sought the Supreme Court 15-days extension to complete the probe in Adani-Hindenburg issue. Adani Enterprises lost over 3% on BSE. Among Sensex stocks, Reliance Industries and Infosys gained nearly 1.2% each.
